EnergyLab Sydney Office launch

Aaron Schimann and Chris Martell of Diagno

We were honoured to attend the launch of EnergyLab’s new home at UTS, celebrating a major milestone in Australia’s clean energy innovation ecosystem. As a firm dedicated to supporting renewable energy projects and emerging clean technologies, we were excited to engage with industry leaders, startups and investors driving the transition to a sustainable future.

The event showcased EnergyLab’s expanded capacity to incubate and accelerate climate-tech ventures, including by providing a collaborative space for forward-thinking entrepreneurs. The launch featured insightful discussions on the challenges and opportunities in Australia’s renewable energy landscape, emphasizing the critical role of legal and regulatory frameworks in enabling growth and investment in the sector as well as their super insightful 2024 Decarb Debrief.

Our team had the opportunity to connect with founders and industry experts (as well as some current clients), exchanging ideas on how legal support can help navigate complex regulatory landscapes, secure funding and facilitate successful project development. As mentors and supporters of EnergyLab, we remain committed to fostering innovation in clean energy.

We congratulate EnergyLab on this exciting new chapter and look forward to supporting their mission of accelerating the transition to a net-zero economy.
